Modern Spa Bath
San Francisco-based design firm, VIF Studio, transformed this master bath into a spa-like oasis. Keeping the original footprint, Design Principal Lian Eoyang, made the space more usable and infused a monochromatic palette in shades of gray, black and white, to create an environment that is both modern and soothing.

A freestanding oval bathtub from Waterworks seems to float on a bed of white polished beach pebbles.
A custom-made double vanity, carved from a slab of Arctic Grey Daltile limestone. Underneath, baskets filled with towels sit atop a custom stained ash cabinet whose wood grain aligns perfectly across the base of drawers. Gooseneck faucets by Dornbracht add an elegant touch.
Arctic Grey limestone floor and wall tile from Daltile cover the bathroom, adding a layer of depth that is luxurious without being flashy.
