The goal of this project was to redesign a cramped and poorly-lit bathroom to make best use of the available space in a cozy house with little room to expand. A pocket door inside the bathroom created a private bath and shower area, but made both halves of the bathroom feel like little more than a closet.

With the partition wall removed, the tub was able to be relocated along the back wall. Combined with a new skylight and a flared shaft above the tub, the room became spacious and filled with natural light.
