This 1936 bungalo attic conversion was a complete turnaround! Beginning with an unfinished attic space, the project included entire-house energy upgrades through the Energy Trust of Oregon, new skylights, windows, stairwell, hardwood floors, wall coverings, and knotty-pine trim.

A high efficiency furnace allowed the chimney running through the middle of the space to be removed, opening the space considerably. What began as an unused attic space filled with cobwebs and dusty old knob-and-tube wiring became a beautiful master bedroom loft!
