Mar-a-Lago Home Office
Description: Ground floor, un-used third bedroom in a two story house in Mar-a-Lago. The room was in excellent condition with new paint and a new engineered floating floor.
Design & Construction: This ground floor third bedroom was very large and gave us two options for the client. 1. Create one open space with large work areas or 2. Separate it into two rooms, one for a corner office, the other area for storage - the client chose the latter. The office was to have a light and airy feel, so we focused on the window side of the large room for the office section and added two interior partition walls in an L shape to create one square office room with a large entrance on right side.
Once the room dimensions where configured, we installed gorgeous custom dove grey upper and lower cabinets with matte black hardware. The wrap around countertop/desktop is in crystal white by Corian Counters. Our client supplied the floating shelves and we added our favorite reclining office chairs by West Elm. To finish off the new room, we sourced two large farm house style doors and added a heavy duty industrial sliding rail.
