West Palm Beach Bathroom Remodel
Description: This outdated master bathroom had a loverly garden view and good natural light. Poor previous construction with substantial water damage from the shower.
Design & Construction: One of our favorite renovations so far, such a dramatic change from the previous style. We stripped out the entire bathroom back stud walls, inspected, repaired and upgraded the structure as needed. We removed the dated block glass window and increased the size of the framing so we would fit a ‘standard size’ triple pane window. The original ceramic floor tiles were completely removed, the plumbing and electrical were inspected and repaired as needed.
We installed a complete Schluter Kerdi System for the shower walls, shower pan and low profile curb, along with Schluter Ditra floor membrane throughout the bathroom. The client wanted a traditional yet modern look and feel, so we installed one of our favorite and most popular tile combinations. Carrera marble 4x12 porcelain wall tile with bevelled edge, grey marble hexagon mosaic floor tiles and 6x24 natural porcelain wood ‘effect’ room tiles. The theme was continued with a crystal white double vanity and large teak mirror - Stunning!
