This is the second family home we have built for the clients, this time on a rare empty section in Mount Eden. Being on volcanic rock, the site was challenging. We overcame the issues this presented and are proud of the house that we built and worked on closely together with them.
This family home is a warm, two-level architectural house with a garage, three bedroom, artist’s studio, landscaping and pool.
As clients, being an architect and artist, they had a clear picture of what they wanted from their second family home and a keen artistic eye. They designed the frosting of glass in their external stairwell to reflect three of the local Maunga (mountains) it is a real feature and talking point.
