BLUFF HOUSE

The waterfront residence is located on Washington's Key Peninsula. Douglas fir trees from the site, cut down before construction could commence, were reused as the materials for the soffit and entry door. One of the focal points is the home's stone fireplace and chimney, and as a special request of the owner, also includes a wood-fired pizza oven accessed from the covered patio.

The main living spaces are open to each other, yet still distinct. The entry is to the left, with a partial height wall and cabinets between it and the dining room. Stairs to the second floor are beyond, with the kitchen offset to the right.
