Bridle Path Lane House is set on a sloping site with panoramic views of Snowmass Village and Snowmass Ski Area. The design used the topography of the site to enhance the function of the house while preserving the convenience of minimum changes in levels. All living spaces open directly to outdoor patios or yards and bring light and views deep into the rooms. The ceiling of the Great Room floats above the space, and is disconnected from the perimeter walls, to emphasize the feel of never ending vistas.
