This new home, for an international client, was inspired by the client's affinity for European mountain chalets and the fond memories of family time spent at Swiss ski resorts. With exception of two introverted spaces (art gallery and media room) located in the basement, the 7,500 square foot house lives on one level with strong connections to the outdoors. The home is primarily finished throughout with reclaimed natural materials but detailed to achieve a modern Alpine interior.
