Brownsville Area Kitchen Remodel

This kitchen remodel, we have remove two columns and built-in cabinets on either side of fireplace and two kitchen walls that were between the dining room and living room to open up kitchen to the rest of the rooms. We needed add a header to redistribute the weight load.

The cabinetry is from Showplace Wood Product- Fine Cabinetry, shown with Covington door style in a combination of hickory wood in a Autumn stain with Walnut glaze on the island and built-ins by the fireplace. The perimeter kitchen cabinets were finished in Linen with a Oatmeal glaze.

New Venetian Gold Granite 12x12 tile was laid on pint/ diagonal on the counter tops with a self bullnose and polished edge. The back splash is 1x2 subway Honey Tan slate tiles with pencil tile used as the bullnose to finish edges where needed.

The fireplace was refaced with new Ledger Stone Slate tile on the fireplace and new porcelain tile on the hearth. New cabinetry was built-in an either side of the fireplace was made to match the same hickory wood and finish of the island cabinets.

New Hallmark Hardwood Flooring High Chaparral Collection in American Hickory High Tack was installed on the floor with complemented the rest of the room perfectly. New Venetian Gold Granite 12x12 tile was laid on pint/ diagonal on the counter tops with a self bullnose and polished edge.
