Opportunity Body Shop, is an Auto Repair shop located in the Spokane Valley, WA. area. This project was the second time I was given the opportunity to design my clients business space. I had designed everything round the Bentley car wallpaper border next to the crown molding above the reception desk. This Bentley car border had given me the Art Deco inspiration to push the theme farther by creating the custom area rug, custom seating with the cloud pillows on the backs, the water jet cut tile design in the floor, arched wall tops with sky and cloud murals, the facade of the reception desk, among other innovative touches.

The arched tambour wood reception desk with three columns were gradually painted from the bottom to reflect the granite look of the countertops, feathering up the columns to sky and cloud look to complement the sky and clouds in the wallpaper border.

As you walk into Opportunity Body Shop you will notice a repeat of the Bentley car painted on the left wall that leads you into the space. The custom neon sign on the back wall behind the reception desk and the custom glass etched viewing window in the waiting room is carrying on the theme. The custom toy box with animal murals gave the children a place to play while their customers waited for their cars to be ready.

There was also a cubby hole area next to the toy box where we added a desk for their customer to be able to speak with their insurance agent. A coffee center was created on the backside of the waiting area wall to keep the hot coffee away the children.

The accessories I found mostly at local antique and vintage stores to further embellish the space. The Art Deco poster in the waiting room, next to the viewing window, I ended up custom painted over the top of to have it match the colors of the space.
