Jefferson Beach Kitchen- DeWil's Expression Inset Cabinets

With kitchen remodel we needed to keep a budget in mind. I find sometime when there is a budget, it can be a welcoming challenge and you become far more creative in the design process. My goal- to keep on budget and make my client's budget stretch farther.

We decided to the existing upper cabinets were still in pretty good shape, so we opt to have them sanded down and repainted with an oil based paint for durability.

We replaced all the base cabinets with new and reconfigured the layout so my client could switch from a 27" stove to a 30" gas stove unit. We decided to go with the good quality brand DeWil's Custom Cabinetry, in their Expression Inset cabinet line, with the Athina door style in a Walnut wood with 109 Cacao stain. She also added an 18" wide dishwasher that she didn't have before. The back of the peninsula we added some decorative fluted fillers for a more formal look.

The new counter tops were fabricated from Cambria Quartz in the new Nevern color. Then we installed a new backsplash, going with cream color 6x6 porcelain tile for clean-ability and a decorative natural stone listello liner above. The stove back splash area we repeated the 6x6 porcelain tiles added a decorative bronze metal listello liner border and dropping in a center cluster of four 2x2 coordinating bronze metal tiles with a 2x2 dot on either side of the cluster.

The new flooring is the beautifully realistic Hallmark's Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) wood plank flooring called Town & Country Series "Appalachian Birch # APP6B2MM for extra durability and longevity. It so hard to tell that it is not real wood flooring.
