Built Overtime
This design was conceived of as an assembly of stone buildings that were added to and connected over time. The primary stone structures are linked by lower wood and copper infill sections to create the appearance of being sequenced.
The geometric auto and entry court organizes the house against an open field at the front, while the more organic shapes at the lakeside respond to the shoreline and placement of existing trees.
The interior retains an almost shaker-like simplicity rendered in beautifully figured quarter sawn oak.
