The remodeling of this kitchen and breakfast area combines a traditional, utilitarian, furniture-like cabinet style with modern function and materials. These include stainless steel, glass tiles, a plate glass backsplash, a walnut breakfast bar and modern lighting.

The open, light filled kitchen and eating area was created by combining compartmentalized spaces through the removal of several existing walls and the addition of new windows.
