Remodel project was to capture a large unfinished attic space by way of creating a new interior stair at entry area. Goal of owners was to create a family room with a wet bar area, 4th bedroom for their expanding family, full bathroom, and utilize and area with lower ceiling heights as a kids play room. This involved structural steel to transfer floor loads and upgrading the roof line with an engineered beam. We incorporated operable skylights to passively cool the space.
