Burlingame Pre-fab

This single family residence is located just out-side of Aspen in the newly planned community of Burlingame Ranch. The design is fully custom, but the construction is modular PreFab to help keep the schedule tight and the project within budget. The house is sited to take full advantage of views of the ranch and Aspen Highlands. Strategically placed windows wash the home with natural light. Reclaimed weath-ered wood is used as siding to clad the house, and is comple-mented with sustainable materials such as rusty corrugated metal that will be easy to maintain in the mountain climate.
Sustainable components of this project include:
Prefabricated construction resulting in efficient building and fewer vehi-cles on the road to and from the job site Exceeds model energy codes. (Energy Star Home) Efficient core and shell construction Reclaimed wood siding and other low maintenance exterior materials Renewable bamboo floors Energy Star Appliances Day Lighting
