This project started out with replacing all the flooring on the whole main floor. Foyer, bathroom, laundry room, back hallway, kitchen and living room were all redone with new vinyl laminate. The old fireplace in the living room was demo'd and reclad with sparkly white stacked stone.

Then came the new kitchen design. The old oak kitchen had a very small, almost unusable, island. One of the things the owners wanted was more seating space for entertaining. We accomplished this by installing a 40 sqft island clad in beautiful Fantasy Brown granite. They now have room to easily sit 6 comfortably around it. With the island also came much appreciated extra cabinet space. We installed a pullout garbage and recycling cabinet into it as well for convenience. The rest of the counters also received the granite treatment. A nice coffee/drink area was incorporated for the owners to enjoy a fresh cup of Jo in the mornings as well as somewhere to store some wine for after work. Beautiful glossy white textured tiles finish the backsplash.

Lighting was provided by in ceiling LED pot lights as well as LED undercabinet lighting. All in all the space worked out far better for the family for their entertaining and living needs.
