Castlefield Ave Whole House - Toronto
This house in a beautiful North Toronto home was given an upgrade, including the kitchen and two bathrooms. The kitchen was left with an open and bright feel as the it flowed right into the living room creating an open concept area. This is enhanced by the white cabinetry, countertop, and backsplash that contrasts with the dark flooring and island seats. We were able to retain some existing appliances such as the refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven. The room is illuminated by ceiling potlights, undercounter LEDs, and hanging pendants above the island.
The ensuite bathroom had a good foundation. We scrapped the bathtub and added a spacious cabinetry system. With cabinets also included in the double sink vanity, this ensuite allows for ample storage and optimally utilized space. The vanity also incorporates a white quartz countertop and double round LED mirrors.
Some highlights include the curbless shower with a Serenity glass shower sliding door. Additionally, the skylight right in the centre of the ceiling brings in and reflects light beautifully off the white features to brighten up this space.
The main bathroom was fully updated including a Schluter-Kerdi waterproofing membrane & Ditra flooring underlay throughout. A highlighted feature in the final product is the aqua hued shower tiling that fades into off-white tiling. The double vanity, as well as double round LED mirrors make the space feel roomier, yet cozy. This coupled with the 2 towel racks makes this a perfect main bathroom for a family, or guests.
