This project was a down to the studs remodel of a classic 1937 Laguna Beach "beach" cottage. I was able to salvage and restore all of the exterior siding and the majority of the windows and interior doors. I was also able to save and refinish the original hardwood floors - oak in the living room and douglas fir throughout the rest of the home. All of the interior pine pine paneling was replaced and the kitchen and three bathrooms were completely remodeled. My objective was to restore this cottage to how it would have been when it was built in 1937.
