Extraordinary efforts make for extraordinary projects! Finding a ceiling pattern that acknowledges existing and new openings, works with the new double bing (islands) as well as works around the existing 16" o.c. floor joists was no small feat. This is a detail that is far easier to produce in new construction and will soon be easier in renovations with the new Ultra Thin LED lights that can fit in the thickness of drywall! Thanks to the Owners for entrusting us to do something unique and kudos to the contractor for following the drawings and installing with precision. It's a detail that you just have to see in person to fully appreciate.
