When a successful interior designer asks you to transform her boring home into something reminiscent of her childhood near Princeton, New Jersey, you know you are in for a fun project. The goals were clear. She wanted a larger master closet, a new front entry, and more curb appeal. The freedom to create was awesome. Whether it was the exploration for the new Georgian front entry carefully sized and proportioned to the existing house and front stoop, creating variation in the six identical dormers, creating hierarchy in the window trim and shutters, or detailing a new custom cupola no part was left untouched.
