The objective of the project was to improve and expand the existing second floor master suite while replacing the existing deck. The more solid deck skirting and double columns were intentional designed to help visually hold up the massing above. This renovation was successful in replacing a previous less thoughtful expansion to an otherwise charming Dutch Colonial home.
