This demonstration garden was a remedy for the previously existing planting which was deemed a safety concern for pedestrians because of the unruly nature of the large prairie plants chosen by the previous installers. Rather than view this as misfortune a plan was created to re-develope the area as a demonstration garden for "green" methods of planting. All of the previously existing plants were transplanted into the existing prairie plot maintained by Teach 'em to Fish to make sure nothing went to waste. The new garden in divided into three sections; one for demonstrating lawn alternatives, another for presenting aromatic plant fauna, and a final section with textually aromatic plants( the smell upon touching or feeling). Through this new planting and the enrichment of the existing prairie we are certain to teach others to fish in all manner of ways.
