This rural residential project came about as a natural remedy to placing snow fence every year in order to reduce drifting across the driveway. This solution will alleviate the need for the fencing while creating a natural corridor that brings life and beauty year round. Prairie establishments can take 3-5 years before maturation of some of the more recognizable species and truly come into its own as a grandiose embodiment of our native landscape, however, this one is showing great promise with the diverse range of species we have seen in the first season. Future additions of bird and bat houses are planned to further encourage the biodiversity of the planting.
