The Gardner/Fox design team worked closely with homeowners of this Pennsylvania home in Chestnut Hill, to determine how to rearrange the main living & work areas to achieve the best flow for their lifestyle. With decisions made the family's existing kitchen and breakfast room were transformed into the new family room. The laundry room was moved to the second floor for easier access. In the kitchens old place a new powder room, mudroom and walk in pantry were added.
The kitchen was relocated to where the old butler's pantry and sunporch previously resided, and was opened up to the rear back yard / pool area.
The construction team moved a thick masonry wall to create one large floor plan. New windows, and doors were installed as well as built in cabinetry.
