Wayne, PA - Main Line Kitchen Addition & Renovation
Audubon Ave - kitchen and mudroom addition multiplied the amount of work space and storage available to the main cook. Before the renovation, the tiny kitchen literally had no upper cabinets and the counter tops were lined with small appliances and other necessary kitchen gear. The spacious new kitchen provides plenty of functional storage and the countertops remain clear for prep and clean up activities, thanks in part to a 12-foot center island. Natural light flows into the breakfast room through a new bay window whose dimensions match the existing. The existing kitchen now serves as a casual sitting area adjacent to the addition. A built-in cabinet located in the original breakfast room was taken apart and re-built in the mudroom addition.
