Fowlkes Studio oversaw an extensive but selective renovation of an 8,000 SF house in Chevy Chase, DC.

Over the years, the 1926 house had undergone a series of additions and renovations that left it fragmented and overwrought.

The project rationalized the layout, brought personalized cohesion to the surfaces and finishes, and updated the kitchen and primary suite. In addition to providing architectural services, Fowlkes Studio curated the furnishing and soft finishes.
