The owners partnered with Fowlkes Studio for a full renovation and addition to their aging clapboard home in Chevy Chase, DC — a charming house with an elevated front porch and plenty of potential.
The new addition was strategically placed at the rear corner, allowing a mudroom entrance set back from the street. The addition also contains a powder room and a sunlit informal living area with direct access to the kitchen and the back garden — a new hub for family life.
