This retired couple purchased a large condo in a newer 4 unit building in the Lincoln Park area. The kitchen was small and poorly laid out. The refrigerator door handle hit the sidewall, and the oven door had to be open to use the drawer above! The layout was restricted by a large window facing the wall of the building next door. We removed the window and moved the range and hood into that space. The refrigerator was moved away from the sidewall with a pantry cabinet and the small kitchen is now beautiful,spacious, and functional.
