Modern Dream Apartment with city views.
This job showcases city living at its finest. The obvious central feature of this home is the fantastic Whistler rooftop pool with an acrylic bottom that acts as the dining area hallway ceiling. (Definitely the best skylight we’ve ever seen…)
We reworked the kitchen which now provides an elegant bar area for casual dining. Creating a personal library was another fun aspect of this project. Our goal was achieved – creating a serene sanctuary to take you away from the busy city centre.
We were able to utilize some very unique and custom features thanks to our design/build team. These features included a “floating light” diffuser above the dining room which doubles down on the pool feature to create what appears to be a floating water element over the dining room table. Adding art lighting beneath the acrylic pool provided a great lighting effect that highlights the artwork while not taking away from the extraordinary pool.
