This is a studio-sized apartment in NW Washington DC. The budget was small and we had a tight deadline so we sourced most furnishings from Wayfair and Ikea. A cocktail table on casters is easily moved to make space for the convertible sofa.
My client also asked me for a console table that folded out into a small dining room table because she likes to hold intimate dinner parties. The dining room chairs are stackable for easy storage and fit in a corner of the closet. We put a storage bench in the closet so she could hide extra blankets and towels away. The shelf on the bottom of the bench is a perfect place to stash shoes. A pub table in the kitchen is a happy hour hangout.
