Clean Lined Transitional Painted Kitchen

http://denisequade.com

This transitional kitchen pairs timeless white cabinets with gray painted cabinets. The gray painted cabinets are on the perimeter with cambria torquay countertops and the white island cabinets anchor the space with great 2" thick walnut countertops. One wall was completely removed, another door way was widened and now the dining space, the kitchen, and the great room are all open together and make the space more family friendly. The wood floors were refinished in a medium tone to update their look but still tie into the medium oak trim that was used throughout the home when it was built. All the appliances are GE and they are all professional grade. The corner sink allows for a lot of prep space to the left of the range. Floating shelves above the corner sink are mimicked again on the cabinetry that wrap into the dining room, bringing a sense of cohesiveness into both spaces. Eat in space was added to the island and is anchored by great neutral bar stools.
