Coastal Landscape Orleans Massachusetts

The landscape design for this new home has many unseen features designed for outdoor livable space, to protect the environment and ensure the longevity of the home. The understated minimal design is intended to eliminate the barrier between the interior and exterior space. Mature rhododendrons were planted near the property line as well as a variety of native plant specimens. The chip seal driveway, bluestone terrace, Ipe decks, and granite walls enhance the clean modern design of the outdoor living space. This sustainable landscape features include River Birch (Betula nigra), dry laid bluestone paving, reclaimed granite pavement, granite retaining walls, sustainably sourced Ipe, and an extensive pallette of native plants.
