The Lily Field is a perennial landscape designed for a Cape Cod Beach Home and in response to the neighbors using the area for overflow parking. Several varieties of daylily were chosen to ensure continuous blooming from June through September while this beach cottage is occupied. The Lily Field is a sustainable Cape Cod landscape design and this project was featured in a lecture Kimberly Mercurio gave at the Poetics of Plant Design Colloquium at Harvard Graduate School of Design.
