Coffee Table - The "upside down" waterfall table
This hand crafted, unique design, features a "waterfall" style table, flipped over with a solid slab top adhered to it. Mounted on a square Lucite base it makes for a stunning piece that will be the talk of the design world.
Made standard from 3/4" thick, Clear Lucite it can also be made in a 1" thick version for more of a "wow" factor.
Each piece is made to order so custom sizing is never a problem, pictured here at 48"L x 18" wide and 22" tall, this design was made for an office to be used more as a meeting space than a living space.
Please note that hand crafted Lucite will never be perfect and this design does have some consistent "issues" that cannot be avoided. The hand folded, "waterfall" style base, while sleek and elegant, is nearly impossible to fold perfectly flush. Because of this when adhering the top to it there will tend to be more air pockets in the glue seam than in other glued edge pieces I make. Additionally the "fold" of the Lucite on the waterfall edge can sometimes catch a seam and is tighter than most mass produced waterfall tables. Where the base is attached to the table there will be air pockets due to the fact that I cannot pressure seal the base all around so most air spots will occur closer to the middle of the table
It is important to consider when purchasing that you are getting a fully hand crafted work of art and as such it will have some imperfections. None of my pieces are perfect and all will have some sort of "unique" flaw which makes it a true one-of-a-kind piece. Nothing is every sloppy and each piece will be solid and functional. However if you are a perfectionist who demands flawless designs as come from more expensive, mass produced pieces I beg you DO NOT purchase from me. I will not tolerate negative feedback from close inspection and scrutiny of every detail by those who demand machined quality Lucite from a hand crafted artist.
