Desk/ table - Lucite "X" base
This is one of the more unique pieces I make. The 3/4” thick , clear Lucite slab top sets on a pair of 3/4” thick, formed Lucite legs to give you a uniquely amazing look and a very spacious desk.
Standard size for the top is 60” x 30 but custom sizing is not a problem as each piece is made to order. The formed legs are made from 6” wide, 3/4” thick lucite and hand molded to get the perfect height for you. Legs are connected by 3/8” bolts and the main center brace is a 3/4” thick x 4” wide clear lucite plank.
PROS & CONS
PROS-
Fully custom sizing makes it able to fit in any space you have. Very easy to set up and provides a lot of surface space for a desk.
CONS -
This is a hand made piece so it will not be perfect. It's not always possible to get the folded legs the right height to get an exact height, but it will be close. My first concern is making a stable table. Where the top sets on the base I use small lucite blocks glued onto the table surface, you will see them, it's a clear table.
