Colonial Remodel
This 90's Colonial home was ready for a refresh. Shaker-style cabinetry from Carriagetown Kitchens in Amesbury, MA complemented the custom expanded island with walnut butcher block counter top. Modern brass fixtures and lighting, along with new appliances, modernized the kitchen's design, while utilizing the existing layout and plumbing. The adjacent powder room was styled with complementing brass fixtures and lighting.
The master suite bathroom remodel and reconfiguration created a better use the space. Dormers were eliminated to create a smaller bathroom space that functioned better for the couple’s needs while creating secret storage for seasonal clothing and other items. By closing off the dormers and creating a smaller footprint, a new double vanity was installed, with updated fixtures, ambient lighting, sconces, soaking tub and an enclosed glass shower stall. Additional space removed from the bathroom also enabled for a stackable washer and dryer to be installed outside of the bathroom, adjacent to the master bedroom walk in closet.
