Toni & Buz had finally had enough. The fridge had stopped working and had been moved out of the kitchen. The cramped kitchen workspace was loaded with utensils, appliances, spices, and other items that simply had no place to go. It was not only time upgrade the kitchen, it was time to transform the first level.

Here is what they wanted to:
• Complete renovation of the kitchen- including a Thermador appliances
• Remove the beams in the kitchen
• Create a seamless living area and room for entertaining.
• Bring in more light into the kitchen and dining room
• Update main floor half bath

Challenges:
• Design a kitchen that could incorporate the appliances and give plenty of storage and room to entertain
• Remove two load bearing walls and install a steal beam to carry both loads
• Install a new window in the living room and replace the window in the kitchen
• Raise the floor in the living room to allow for a seamless living area

The end result is stunning transformation. The professional Thermador range gives Buz the space he needs to create an edible masterpiece. The new breakfast seating area now opens up the kitchen to the living room and invites spectators to the kitchen. The new Marvin windows brighten up the dining room and kitchen. The appliance garage now hides the appliances that had no home before. The Cambria Laneshaw countertops compliment the Aspen Dawn glass mosaic backsplash. The knotty walnut floor covers the whole first floor, creating a seamless flow from front door to the living room and through the kitchen.
