One wall was removed and the main opening was widened to open up this Woodbury kitchen. The home owners wanted to maintain a sitting area by the patio door, as this was their morning lounging area. The buffet on opposite end of the kitchen was also a must and was built to maintain a look of furniture. The original oak flooring extended into the kitchen, sanded and finished with a nutmeg stain.
