Cont. Diablo

This extensively restored residence built in 1924, achieved a Historic Preservation Award after completion. Before redesign, the house was completely shaded by redwood trees. AFLA worked to retain the historic forest-character of the site, while carefully fitting a new pool below a heritage Oak, establishing sunny lawn-covered spaces throughout, while evoking an 'Old World' feel. An apple tree alley connects the house to the pool.
