Cont. Menlo Park

This residence’s large landscape was cut off by wood retaining walls located too close to the house, limiting access to the majority of the hillside back yard. Opening up the yard with unobtrusive transitions, allowed previously unusable areas to be explored and utilized. A mix of native and Mediterranean plants were applied to achieve a diverse, textured, and color-coordinated landscape. Paint stroke and cluster-like applications were used to extend space and lead the eye.
