We removed the wall that divided the dining room and opened the doorway that leads into the new entry and mudroom. This kitchen went from dark and stuffy to a modern, Scandinavian look. The sleek, custom birch cabinets and soapstone countertops, keep the room cozy. The family enjoys taking in their new expansive views of the outdoors, while eating or doing homework at the island.
