Creekside modern design in Dallas, TX. The goal for this sustainable modern home was to create a strong relationship with the natural amenities of the site and adjacent lake; and give regional character. Goals were met through the use of Texas limestone, which fits into the overall context while providing an element of warmth and comfort. As the owner of the home and a principal at HKS, Inc., one of the leading international proponents of sustainability in commercial architecture, it was important to reflect the company’s values in the design.
