Deck Cleaning
For the property butler, Deck cleaning is both art and science.
We want to restore the original look of the wood in a fast efficient manner without having to use a lot of harmful chemicals like you would find at the big box stores.
We start by soaking the deck with water, we then apply a heavy coat of sodium per carbonate wood cleaner and we then scrub with a deck brush with the grain of the wood. Without letting this dry we wash the wood with a high volume low pressure stream of water with the grain once again.
While the wood is still wet we apply Oxalic Acid as a neutralizer and a wood brightener.
We then double rinse the whole deck down.
The results are pretty amazing!
