Acting as a bridge or a landing, this outdoor entertainment space connects the home and the lower part of the back yard. The existing orange brick motivated the choice of color which blends the two spaces with an old and new quality of materials.

Take a close look at the entry walkway. The deck surface was carefully measured to be at the same height as the brick retaining wall. Adding seasonal detail the planting space between the wall and the brick paver walkway approaching the deck is filled with a variety of colorful greenery.

The second of two railings borders the deck adjacent to the approach from the side yard. Also a Timbertech product the darker color helps define the usable space and helps make it easier to see amidst a colorful backdrop that is this idyllic garden.
