This "before" photo shows an eclectic mix of small changes that over time brought the homeowner to the decision to remodel.

Sofit gone, laminate cabinets part of the past, this now open space is actually brighter. Filled with the warm tones of cherry wood and under cabinet lighting accentuate the backsplash. The greyish quartz countertop blends well with the stainless steel appliances.

This "before" view shows a peninsula, although part of the original kitchen concept, it restricts traffic and is an awkward divider and calls attention to the different flooring in the dining area.

The now open passage to the dining area is also connected by porcilain plank flooring throughout making the dining area part of the entire space. Storage that used to be in the peninsula was more than replaced by the spacious island and custom size breakfront.

This "before" shot makes for a good reference point in comparison to the new design. The simple need here was better design within the existing space.

The refrigerator is now surrounded by the pantry cabinets that previously stood out into the room. The location is relatively the same , just reconfigured for an open concept and a more modern appeal. this enjoyable space is now ready for entertaining to the max.
