A young couple found their dream home in Downtown Culver City. Being sustainably minded, they wanted to keep as many existing elements as possible. A custom designed fence and refinement of an existing iron gate plus sophisticated drought tolerant plant palette complete the front. Festively connecting the front and back, the side yard was activated with a veggie garden, outdoor cooking area and dining room all leading to a cozy deck and fire table. A natural stone path leads beyond to the the very private feeling backyard off the mater bedroom evoking a resort feeling with lush plantings, a cabaña and a hot tub perfect for two.
