A growing family needed more space. The homeowners wanted to utilize and ivy-covered hillside in thier backyard. The obvious solution was a deck. 650 sqare feet of deck was constructed on the narrow strip of steep slope at the rear of the property. The deck was design and constructed to seemlessly fit in with existing structures and offers views of the surrounding area, a hot tub spot, dinning bar, a huge covered lounge area and hammock hangout.
An orchard with modern vegie containers were installed in a previously overshaded and under used section on the side yard slope.
