The home is located in downtown Rochester and is a historical home. This kitchen remodel was an addition to the existing kitchen. It was important for the owners to have an addition that didn't look like one. The architect and builder paid close attention to detail to do so. The siding and windows matched the existing as well as how they tied in the roof.
The addition extended about twelve feet which doubled the size of the original kitchen. Though we were still working with the same narrow space we maximized storage and function of the new layout. I love the way this remodel turned out. The style fits with the home perfectly, nothing looks out of place in this historical home.
