This large master bathroom suite was broken into two separate areas, both at the top of a short staircase. The bathroom was doored off from the dressing room. We moved the entry door to the bottom of the stairs to add drama to the ingress of the space, and opened the door way to bring the individual spaces together. Bright, clean luxury was our goal. The large, glass enclosed shower offers a respite while allowing the enjoyment of the views of the lake out the window over the tub. There is plenty of room to move around or stretch out on the bench. (The homeowner comfortably fit 8 friends inside the shower at the unveiling party!) The tub is sheer indulgence, with bubble jets, heated back rest, and chromotherapy. The well thought out cabinetry offers plenty of storage and gorgeous detailing. We thought of every detail, to the LED night light near the tissue holder at the water closet. This bathroom won First Place in the Central Virginia NARI CoTY Awards for 2014, and a Crystal Choice winner for the 2015 Crystal Design Awards (national competition).
